General News:

Wasn’t able to make it to the meeting on February 16th’s  “Ch-Ch-Changes” meeting organized by George? No worries! Elena gave a wonderful ice breaker speech. Read a summary of the hour and her speech on the Toastmodernists’ website.

If you’re attending the next meeting, don’t forget to say “hello” to welcome Marie Michelle Tan our newest member! Michelle attended a few meetings prior to joining and now we’re glad to have her with us as an official Toastmaster/Toastmodernists member.

Next: Interested in discussing art with wine+appetizers outside of Toastmodernists meetings? Rhino Business Club organized an art walk for this Thursday evening. The art walk is a monthly event put on by the San Francisco Art Dealers Association. RSVP for the walk on Facebook.

For this Thursday’s meeting: among the many important meeting roles we still have a Speaker 2 and Art Tip slots open. Sign up for a future meeting roles and keep track of your speech projects on the 3rd and 4th sheets of the spreadsheet.

The Toastmodernists Open House date is tentatively set for Tuesday, April 3, 2012 from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM. Here’s a peek at the flier already in the works by Elena.

Lastly, VP of Public Relations, Treasurer and Secretary Club Officer roles are still open. Fulfilling the duties of these roles are a large part of completing the Competent Leadership manual.
